Abbas al-Musawi

Abbas al-Musawi (bahasa Arab: عباس الموسوي; 26 Oktober 1952 – 16 Februari 1992) adalah seorang Ulama Syiah Lebanon yang berpengaruh, salah satu pendiri dan sekretaris Jenderal Hezbollah. Dia dibunuh oleh Pasukan Pertahanan Israel pada tahun 1992.

Kehidupan Awal dan Pendidikan

Al-Musawi dilahirkan dalam keluarga Syiah di desa Al-Nabi Shayth di Lembah Beqaa di Lebanon sekitar tahun 1952.[1] Ia menghabiskan delapan tahun belajar teologi di sebuah Sekolah Agama di Najaf, Irak, di mana ia sangat terpengaruh. dengan pandangan Ruhollah Khomeini dari Iran.[2] Al-Musawi adalah murid, di hawza di Najaf, Ayatollah Agung Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, seorang Ulama Syiah yang berpengaruh, filsuf, pemimpin politik, dan pendiri Partai Dakwah Irak.
