Abel Resino Gómez (lahir 2 Februari 1960), kadang-kadang hanya dipanggil Abel, adalah seorang mantan pemain sepak bola Spanyol yang bermain sebagai penjaga gawang, dan saat ini ia menjabat sebagai pelatih klub Celta de Vigo.
Ia dijuluki El Gato[1] karena refleksnya sebagai penjaga gawang, ia memainkan sebagian besar kariernya di Atletico Madrid. Selama kira-kira satu tahun ia juga pernah melatih Atletico, dan membantu tim untuk lolos ke Liga Champions.
