Abubakari II

Abubakari II adalah mansa kekaisaran Mali, penerus keponakannya Mohammed ibn Gao dan diteruskan oleh Kankan Musa I. Abubakari II mengabdikasikan tahtanya untuk mengeksplorasi "batas samudra", tetapi, ekspedisinya tidak pernah kembali. Beberapa sejarawan seperti Gaoussou Diawara mengatakan bahwa Abubakari mencapai Amerika pada awal abad ke-14, walaupun klaim tersebut ditolak oleh sejarawan lainnya.[1]
