Adam Garcia (lahir 1 Juni 1973) adalah seorang aktor asal Australia. Ia dikenal karena peran utamanya dalam musikal seperti Saturday Night Fever dan Kiss Me, Kate.[1][2] Ia juga seorang penari tap dan penyanyi.[3] Garcia telah dinominasikan dua kali di Penghargaan Laurence Olivier pada tahun 1999 dan 2013.[4][5]

Kehidupan awal

Garcia adalah putra dari Jean Balharry dan Fabio Garcia. Ibunya adalah warga negara Australia, dan ayahnya berasal dari Kolombia. Ibu Garcia adalah seorang fisioterapi yang sudah pensiun.[6] Garcia bersekolah di Knox Grammar School tempat ia menyelesaikan pendidikan sekolah menengahnya.[6] Ia juga menerima pelatihan tari tap formal di Capital Dance Studio di Sydney, Australia.[7] Garcia kuliah di Universitas Sydney, tetapi tidak menyelesaikan pendidikannya karena ia meninggalkan universitas untuk mengambil peran Slide dalam produksi musikal Hot Shoe Shuffle, yang melakukan tur di Australia selama dua tahun sebelum dipindahkan ke London, Inggris.[8]
