Advent of Code adalah acara tahunan bertema tantangan pemrograman komputer yang diselenggarakan saat menjelang Natal, mengikuti kalender adven.[1][2] Acara ini telah berjalan sejak 2015.[3] Teka-teki pemrogramannya mencakup berbagai keahlian dan tingkat keterampilan pemrogram serta dapat dipecahkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman apa saja. Setiap teka-teki dibuat terlebih dahulu oleh Eric Wastl dan diterbitkan pada tengah malam Waktu Timur (UTC-5). Teka-tekinya terdiri atas dua bagian yang harus dipecahkan secara berurutan.[4][5] Peserta juga bersaing berdasarkan kecepatan pada peringkat global dan privat.[1]
