Afinitas kimia

Afinitas kimia adalahsuatu bentuk sifat elektronik yang dengan ini spesies kimia yang berbeda akan mampu membentuk senyawa kimianya sendiri. Afinitas kimia juga dapat berhubungan dengan kecenderungan atom atau senyawa untuk bergabung dengan reaksi kimia dengan atom atau senyawa dengan komposisi yang tidak sama.[1]

Definisi

Definisi Afinitas Kimia menurut IUPAC saat ini adalah afinitas A adalah turunan parsial negatif dari energi bebas Gibbs G sehubungan dengan tingkat Reaksi ξ pada Tekanan dan Suhu konstan.[2]
