Africanews (berlogo dalam huruf kecil sebagai africanews.) adalah jaringan berita multibahasa yang awalnya bermarkas di Pointe-Noire, Republik Kongo. Kekhawatiran anggaran yang disebabkan oleh virus corona memaksa saluran tersebut untuk secara permanen mengalihkan operasi ke ruang redaksi kecil di markas besar saluran saudara Euronews in Lyon, Prancis. Saluran berita mulai mengudara secara daring, dan melalui TV dan satelit pada 20 April 2016.[1]
Siaran
Seperti saluran saudaranya Euronews, Africanews menjalankan berita dan ringkasan cuaca setiap setengah jam.
Bahasa
Saat ini, Africanews disiarkan dalam bahasa Inggris dan Prancis: sebagian besar gambar dan teks di layar berupa dwibahasa. Saluran ini berencana untuk memperluas dan mengakomodasi sebagian besar penduduk benua Afrika dan berencana untuk meluncurkan siaran berbahasa Swahili, Arab, Belanda, Spanyol, dan Portugis pada tahun 2022/2023.[2]
Saluran
Saluran saat ini disiarkan di 33 negara sub-Sahara dan dapat diakses oleh 7,3 juta rumah melalui jaringan televisi satelit dan terestrial digital.[3][4][5]

- Daily News: Buletin berita hari kerja dari jam 11 hingga 18.
- Prime Edition: Buletin berita hari kerja dari jam 18 hingga 23.
- The Nightshift: Buletin berita hari kerja dari jam 23 hingga 6.
- International Weekend: Buletin berita akhir pekan.
