Afrosoricida (nama majemuk bahasa Latin-Yunani yang berarti "tampak seperti celurut Afrika") adalah ordo dalam kelas mamalia yang mencakup tikus-tanah emas (famili Chrysochloridae) di Afrika bagian selatan, celurut berang-berang (famili Potamogalidae) di Afrika khatulistiwa, dan tenrek (famili Tenrecidae) di Madagaskar. Ketiga famili mamalia kecil ini secara tradisional dianggap sebagai bagian dari ordo Insectivora, dan kemudian dimasukkan dalam Lipotyphla setelah Insectivora ditinggalkan sebagai takson keranjang sampah. Belakangan, Lipotyphla juga ditemukan bersifat polifili sehingga tak digunakan.

Beberapa ahli biologi menggunakan Tenrecomorpha sebagai nama untuk klad gabungan antara tikus-tanah emas dengan tenrek, tetapi Gary Bronner dan Paulina Jenkins berpendapat bahwa Afrosoricida lebih tepat, meskipun mereka ragu-ragu tentang kesamaan antara nama "Afrosoricida" dan subgenus celurut Afrosorex yang tidak terkait.[1] Namun, Afrosorex yang diusulkan oleh Hutterer pada 1986 adalah sinonim dari Crocidura (Wagler, 1832) sehingga menghilangkan kebingungan ini.[2]
