Afrotropika
Wilayah Afrotropika atau wilayah afrotropis adalah salah satu dari delapan wilayah biogeografi Bumi. Wilayah ini mencakup Afrika Sub-Sahara, Semenanjung Arab selatan, pulau Madagaskar, dan pulau-pulau di Samudra Hindia barat.[1] Sebelumnya wilayah ini dikenal sebagai Zona Etiopia atau Wilayah Etiopia.
Sebagian besar dari wilayah Afrotropika, kecuali ujung selatan Afrika, memiliki iklim tropis. Sebuah sabuk gurun-gurun lebar, termasuk gurun Gurun Sahara dan Atlantik di Afrika Utara dan Gurun Arab di Semenanjung Arab memisahkan Afrotropika dan wilayah Palearktika, yang mencakup Afrika Utara dan Eurasia iklim sedang.
