Aireborough

53°52′12″N 1°40′52″W / 53.870°N 1.681°W / 53.870; -1.681 Aireborough adalah distrik perkotaan di West Riding of Yorkshire yang eksis antara tahun 1937 hingga 1974, di utara Leeds, Inggris.[1] Wilayahnya meliputi Guiseley, Yeadon dan Rawdon, dan dibuat sebagai gabungan dari tiga distrik kota tersebut ditambah bagian dari Distrik Desa Wharfedale. Nama distrik ini diambil dari Sungai Aire. Distrik ini sekarang merupakan bagian dari Distrik Metropolitan Kota Leeds.

Nama Aireborough tetap digunakan di banyak organisasi lokal serta menjadi Kantor Pengiriman Royal Mail. Ini juga merupakan distrik Sensus dan terkenal sebagai 'tempat paling rata-rata di Inggris dan Wales'[2] dalam studi pada Sensus 2001.

Yeadon dan Sekolah Menengah Guiseley dinamai sebagai Aireborough Grammar School pada tahun 1937, ketika Distrik Kota Aireborough dibentuk.
