Aksara Cree.

Aksara Cree adalah salah satu aksara Aborigin Kanada yang digunakan untuk menulis dialek-dialek bahasa Cree. Aksara silabis ini kemudian diadaptasi untuk bahasa-bahasa lain.[1] Diperkirakan terdapat lebih dari 70.000 penutur rumpun bahasa Algonquia yang menggunakan aksara ini. Mereka tinggal di kawasan yang terbentang dari Saskatchewan di barat hingga Teluk Hudson di timur, dan dari perbatasan Amerika Serikat di selatan hingga Distrik Mackenzie dan Kewatin (Northwest Territories dan Nunavut) di utara.[2]

Aksara silabis Cree dikembangkan pada pertengahan abad ke-19 oleh James Evans.[3]
