Alagakkonara

Alagakkonara (bahasa Sinhala: අලගක්කෝනාර, har. 'Alagakkōnāra', bahasa Tamil: அழகக்கோன்), yang juga dikenal sebagai Alakeshwara,[1] adalah sebuah keluarga feodal berpengaruh yang menyediakan para penguasa militer dan menteri berkuasa pada abad pertengahan di Sri Lanka. Meskipun beberapa sejarawan berkata bahwa keluarga tersebut berasal dari Malayali, yang lainnya berkata bahwa mereka berasal dari Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India.[2] Mereka datang ke Sri Lanka pada sekitar abad ke-13 dan menaturalisasikan diri mereka sendiri di Sri Lanka.[3]
