Albedo geometrik

Albedo geometrik dari objek astronomi adalah perbandingan antara tingkat cahaya aktual dari sudut fase nol (seperti sebagaimana terlihat dari sumber cahaya) hingga menjadi cakram yang datar, memantulkan, dan menghamburkan cahaya (Lambertian) dengan potongan tampilan yang sama, di mana hasil perbandingan itu telah diidealkan

Albedo geometrik visual merujuk pada nilai albedo geometrik ketika menghitung radiasi elektromagnetik dalam spektrum kasatmata saja.
