Alektus (meninggal 296) adalah seorang perampas jabatan kaisar Britanai Romawi di Britania dan utara Galia dari 293 sampai 296.[1]
Sejarah
Alektus adalah bendahara Carausius, seorang perwira Menapii dalam angkatan laut Romawi yang meluaskan kekuasaan ke Britania dan utara Galia pada 286. Pada 293, Carausius terjepit ketika Caesar barat, Konstantius Klorus, mencaplok beberapa wilayah kekuasaan Galia-nya, terutama pelabuhan penting Bononia (sekarang Boulogne), dan mengalahkan sekutu Frank-nya di Bayern. Alektus kemudian membunuh Carausius
