Alessandro Moreschi (11 November 1858 – 21 April 1922) adalah seorang penyanyi castrato Italia pada akhir abad ke-19 dan satu-satunya castrato yang membuat rekaman solo.[1]
Pada tahun 1883, Capocci mempersembahkan pertunjukan khusus untuk anak didiknya: pertunjukan pertama di Italia dari oratorio Christus am lberge oleh Beethoven, di mana Moreschi menyanyikan peran coloratura yang menuntut dari Seraph.[2] Atas kekuatan pertunjukan ini, ia dikenal sebagai l'Angelo di Roma, dan tak lama setelah itu, setelah diaudisi oleh semua anggota Paduan Suara Kapel Sistina, ia diangkat sebagai Soprano Pertama di sana, jabatan yang dipegangnya selama tiga puluh tahun berikutnya.[3]
