Alfred Guillou (12 September 1844, Concarneau - 1926, Concarneau) adalah seorang pelukis Prancis keturunan Breton. Ayahandanya adalah seorang nelayan dan petani yang menjabat sebagai wali kota Concarneau selama lima belas tahun.[1] Ia menerima pelajaran seni rupa pertamanya dari litografer Théodore Le Monnier (1815–1888), yang mengunjungi Concarneau. Atas sarannya, Guillou pindah ke Paris pada 1862, di mana ia menghadiri Académie Suisse untuk waktu yang singkat, kemudian mulai berkarier di loka karya Alexandre Cabanel.[1] Saat di sana, dia bertemu Jules Bastien-Lepage, Fernand Cormon dan Théophile Deyrolle, yang meyakinkannya untuk meninggalkan arsitektur dan bergabung dengannya di Cabanel.
