Amenonuhoko

Lukisan berjudul "Mencari Laut Bersama Tenkei" (天瓊を以て滄海を探るの図, Tenkei o motte sōkai o saguru no zu) oleh Kobayashi Eitaku ca tahun 1880–90.

Amenonuhoko (天沼矛) (terj. har. 'tombak permata surgawi') merupakan tombak yang digunakan oleh dewa Izanagi dan Izanami ketika membentuk pulau atau daratan pertama (Onogoro-shima) menurut ajaran Shinto. Terkadang Amenonuhoko juga disebut sebagai naginata (tombak tradisional Jepang).[1] Menurut buku catatan sejarah jepang Kojiki, amenonuhoko tersebut diberikan kepada Izanami dan Izanagi oleh dewa pendahulu di surgawi.[2] Kedua dewa tersebut kemudian pergi menuju jembatan penghubung langit dan bumi, Ame-no Ukihashi ("jembatan terapung surga") dan membentuk daratan dari lautan menggunakan naginata (Amenonuhoko).[3][4]
