Amrita Singh (lahir 9 Februari 1958)[1] adalah seorang pemeran film dan televisi asal India.[2]

Kehidupan awal

Singh lahir dalam sebuah keluarga Sikh.[3] Ia merupakan putri dari Rukhsana Sultana,[4] yang merupakan seorang penggiat politik[5] dan perwira tentara Shivinder Singh Virk, dari sebuah keluarga feodal.[6]

Singh masuk Sekolah Modern di New Delhi dan dapat berbicara dalam bahasa-bahasa Inggris, Punjabi dan Hindi.[7]
