Anna Sewell (/ˈsuːəl/; 30 Maret 1820 – 25 April 1878)[1] adalah seorang novelis asal Inggris. Dia terkenal sebagai penulis novel tahun 1877 berjudul Black Beauty, satu-satunya karyanya yang diterbitkan, yang sekarang dianggap sebagai salah satu dari sepuluh novel terlaris untuk anak-anak, meskipun pada saat itu dimaksudkan untuk pembaca dewasa.[2] Dia meninggal hanya lima bulan setelah penerbitan "Black Beauty", karena telah hidup cukup lama untuk melihat satu-satunya novelnya menjadi sukses.
