Applied and Environmental Microbiology adalah jurnal ilmiah penelaahan sejawat dua mingguan yang diterbitkan oleh American Society for Microbiology. Jurnal ini didirikan pada tahun 1953 dengan nama Applied Microbiology dan mendapatkan namanya yang sekarang pada tahun 1975.
Artikel yang berusia lebih dari enam bulan tersedia secara gratis di situs webnya, namun, artikel yang baru diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu enam bulan hanya tersedia bagi pelanggan.
