Ardwick
Ardwick adalah sebuah distrik yang berada di kota Manchester, daerah barat laut Inggris, sekitar satu mil ke timur dari pusat kota Manchester.
Pada pertengahan abad ke-19 Ardwick telah tumbuh dari sebuah desa menjadi sebuah kota yang menyenangkan di Manchester, dan pada akhir abad ke-19 tersebut Ardwick telah menjadi kota industri.[1][2]
Ketika seluruh industri mengalami penurunan maka begitu juga dengan Ardwick, dan menjadi salah satu daerah kota yang paling kekurangan. Pengembangan substansial telah terjadi baru-baru ini di Ardwick dan area lain dari Manchester, terutama pembangunan banyak fasilitas yang digunakan untuk Commonwealth Games 2002.
