Arena Tyrol Selatan (dalam Italia Arena Alto Adige; dalam Jerman Südtirol Arena) adalah sebuah biathlon stadion di kotamadya Rasen-Antholz, di Tyrol Selatan (Italia).
Fasilitas tersebut akan menjadi tuan rumah kompetisi biathlon Olimpiade Musim Dingin 2026 Milan-Cortina.
Sejarah
Fasilitas, yang mulai dibangun pada tahun 1969 dan dibuka pada tahun 1971, secara teratur menjadi tuan rumah panggung Piala Dunia Biathlon, serta enam edisi Kejuaraan Dunia Biathlon ( 1975, 1976, 1983, 1995, 2007, dan [ [Kejuaraan Dunia Biathlon 2020|2020]]) dan dua edisi Kejuaraan Dunia Junior Biathlon (1975 dan 1983).[1]
Stadion ini dimodernisasi dari tahun 2006: tribun penonton diperbesar dan sebuah gedung dibangun untuk para juri kompetisi. Total pengeluaran adalah 6,9 juta euro.[2]
Kejuaraan Dunia 2007 dihadiri oleh 117.000 penonton, dengan puncak 23.000 pada Sabtu 10 Februari.
Tempat
Arena ini terletak di ujung Antholz Valley (lembah sisi Puster Valley) pada ketinggian 1600 m di atas permukaan laut, dekat Lake of Antholz. Ini adalah tempat biathlon tertinggi Piala Dunia.
