Arsinoe dari Makedon
Arsinoe dari Makedon (Bahasa Yunani: Ἀρσινόη; hidup di abad le-4 SM) merupakan ibunda Ptolemaios I Soter (323 SM – 283 SM), raja Mesir.
Ia awalnya adalah seorang gundik Filipus II, raja Makedon, dan konon bahwa ia diberikan oleh Filipus kepada Lagus, seorang bangsawan Makedonia, saat ia sedang hamil dengan Ptolemaios I Soter, namun terdapat kemungkinan bahwa ini adalah mitos kemudian yang dibuat untuk memuliakan Dinasti Ptolemaik.[1] Ptolemaios dianggap oleh orang Makedonia sebagai putra Filipus.[2] Bergantian, garis keturunan Ptolemaios ke Dinasti Argeadai digeser ke Arsinoe di dalam upaya untuk mensahkan tuntutannya; tetapi penelitian kontemporer dan modern menunjukkan bahwa ini adalah sebuah rekayasa.[3][4][5][6][7][8]
