Arthur Hoerl (17 Desember 1891 – 6 Februari 1968) adalah seorang penulis naskah dan sutradara Amerika Serikat. Hoerl lahir di New York, sebagai putra dari pasangan Louis Hoerl, eorang pemoles perak imigran Jerman, dan Teresa Hoerl. Arthur menyelesaikan perguruan tinggi selama tiga tahun, menurut Sensus AS 1940.
Ia menulis untuk 150 film antara 1921 dan 1968. Salah satu peran terkenalnya adalah menjadi salah satu penulis untuk film Tell Your Children (1936) yang kini dikenal sebagai Reefer Madness. Untuk Broadway, 1932, ia menulis sandiwara A Few Wild Oats.[1] Ia juga menyutradarai empat film antara 1932 dan 1934. Hoerl meninggal di Hollywood, California.
