August Hirt

August Hirt (28 April 1898 – 2 Juni 1945) adalah seorang dokter SS Nazi yang diketahui mengoleksi jasad sejumlah warga Yahudi korban Holokaus untuk kepentingan riset. Tindakan Hirt terungkap setelah beberapa koleksinya tertinggal di Universitas Strasbourg karena lupa dibawa. Ia dikenal sebagai peneliti anatomi. Setelah Universitas Strasbourg di Prancis dibebaskan Amerika Serikat (AS) dari pendudukan Nazi, August Hirt bunuh diri dan meninggalkan sejumlah koleksinya di universitas tersebut.[1]
