Bajing tanah (tribus Marmotini) adalah hewan pengerat dalam famili bajing (Sciuridae) yang umumnya hidup di tanah atau di liang, bukan di pohon seperti bajing pohon. Istilah ini paling umum digunakan untuk bajing-bajing tanah berukuran sedang, karena yang lebih besar lebih umum dikenal sebagai marmot (genus Marmota) atau anjing padang rumput, sementara yang berukuran lebih kecil dan lebih sedikit lebat bulunya umumnya dikenal sebagai bajing-belang (genus Tamias).
