Bakr Awa adalah Tel, atau gundukan pemukiman arkeologi di Irak. Terletak di dekat Halabjah di Dataran Shahrazur, Kurdistan Selatan. Situs ini tingginya 40 meter (130 ft) dan terdiri dari gundukan pemukiman pusat yang dikelilingi oleh kota yang lebih rendah berukuran 800 x 600 meter (2.600 ft × 2.000 ft).[1] Situs ini pertama kali diselidiki pada 1927 oleh Ephraim Avigdor Speiser sebagai bagian dari studi yang lebih umum di daerah tersebut.
