Barong sumba

Barong sumba atau Hipposideros sumbae adalah hewan sejenis Barong (kelelawar) yang hanya ditemukan di Indonesia. Spesies ini terdapat di sekitar Nusa Tenggara Barat dan Nusa Tenggara Timur.

Habitat spesies ini ditemukan dengan ketinggian di bawah 1.000 m dpl di gua-gua bahkan di atap rumah. Hewan ini hidup dalam koloni besar serta tidak tergantung pada air.

Spesies ini masuk dalam Daftar merah IUCN dengan kategori Berisiko rendah atau Least Concern.
