Barry B. Powell

Barry Bruce Powell (lahir 1942) adalah seorang sarjana klasik Amerika. Dia merupakan Halls-Bascom Profesor Classics Emeritus di University of Wisconsin-Madison, penulis buku teks Mitos Klasik yang banyak digunakan dan banyak buku lainnya. Memberikan pelatihan di Universitas California, Berkeley dan Universitas Harvard, spesialisasinya dalam karya Homer dan dalam sejarah penulisan. Dia juga mengajar filologi Mesir selama bertahun-tahun dan peradaban Mesir.

Dia telah menerjemahkan Iliad[1] dan Odisseia (Odyssey karya Homer).
