Bekut-api merah atau ikan roket (Nemateleotris magnifica) adalah spesies ikan dart yang berasal dari terumbu karang di samudra Hindia dan Pasifik.[2]

Keterangan

Anggota spesies ini biasanya memiliki kepala berwarna kuning cerah, menyatu menjadi tubuh putih, secara bertahap berubah menjadi ekor merah-oranye. Sirip punggungnya sangat panjang, dan ikan mengibaskannya maju mundur. Ini digunakan sebagai sinyal untuk sejenis.[3][4] Sebagai ikan dewasa, ia mencapai panjang maksimum 9 sentimeter (3,5 in) .[2]
