Belemnoidea adalah sebuah kelompok sefalopoda laut punah, yang dalam beberapa segi sangat mirip dengan cumi-cumi modern. Layaknya mereka, belemnoidea memiliki kantung tinta.[1] Namun, tidak seperti cumi-cumi, mereka memiliki 10 lengan dengan panjang yang kurang lebih sama, tanpa tentakel.[2] Nama "Belemnoidea" berasal dari kata bahasa Yunani Kuno βέλεμνον (bélemnon), yang berarti "anak panah", dan είδος (eídos), berarti "wujud".[3]

Belemnoidea mencakup belemnit (yang termasuk dalam ordo Belemnitida), begitu juga dengan ordo Aulacocerida, Phragmoteuthida, dan Diplobelida. Belemnoidea telah disarankan oleh beberapa ahli sebagai sebuah kelompok parafiletik.[4]
