Bell 430

Bell 430 adalah sebuah helikopter ringan-menengah bermesin ganda dibangun oleh Bell Helicopter. Ini adalah pengembangan memanjang dan lebih kuat dari Bell 230, yang didasarkan pada Bell sebelumnya 222.

Bell 430 secara resmi diluncurkan pada Februari 1992, dengan dua prototipe dimodifikasi dari Bell 230S. Yang pertama terbang dalam konfigurasi baru pada tanggal 25 Oktober 1994, dan prototipe kedua, menampilkan penuh 430 avionik suite, pertama terbang pada tanggal 19 Desember 1994.[1]

Produksi Bell 230 berakhir pada bulan Agustus 1995, dan produksi 430 dimulai. Pertama pesawat produksi 430 selesai akhir tahun itu. Sertifikasi Kanada dianugerahi pada 23 Februari 1996. Pengiriman dimulai pada pertengahan tahun 1996.[1]

Pada tanggal 24 Januari 2008, Bell mengumumkan rencana untuk mengakhiri produksi model yang 430 setelah komitmen urutan saat terpenuhi pada tahun 2010.[2] Produksi berakhir setelah 136 helikopter diselesaikan,[3] dengan terakhir yang disampaikan pada bulan Mei 2008.[4]
