Benny Golson (25 Januari 1929 – 21 September 2024) adalah seorang pemain tenor, saksofon, juga komposer sekaligus penata musik beraliran bebop/hard bop jazz asal Amerika Serikat.[1] Dia menjadi terkenal dengan band-band besar Lionel Hampton dan Dizzy Gillespie, lebih sebagai penulis daripada pemain, sebelum meluncurkan karier solonya. Golson dikenal sebagai pendiri dari The Jazztet bersama trumpeter Art Farmer pada tahun 1959. Dari akhir 1960-an hingga 1970-an Golson diminati sebagai penata musik untuk film dan televisi dengan membuatnya kurang aktif sebagai pemain, tetapi dia dan Farmer mereformasi Jazztet pada tahun 1982.
