Betet mata-putih (Psittacara leucophthalmus) adalah sebuah spesies burung dalam subfamili Arinae dalam famili Psittacidae, yang mencakup bayan Dunia Baru dan Afrika.[4] Spesies ini ditemukan di semua negara daratan Amerika Selatan kecuali Chile dan Trinidad.[5]
Panjang spesies ini 32 hingga 35 cm (13 hingga 14 in) dengan rentang sayap 37 hingga 40 cm (15 hingga 16 in)[butuh rujukan]. Bobotnya 100 hingga 218 g (3,5 hingga 7,7 oz). Warna bulunya putih, dengan perut yang agak kekuningan.
