Bill de Blasio
Bill de Blasio (lahir Warren Wilhelm, Jr; lahir 8 Mei 1961) adalah wali kota New York City ke-109 dari tahun 2014 hingga 2021. Dari 2010 hingga 2013, ia menjabat sebagai Advokat Publik New York City, yang berfungsi sebagai ombudsman antara pemilih dan pemerintah kota. Dia sebelumnya menjabat sebagai anggota Dewan Kota New York, mewakili Kabupaten ke-39 di Brooklyn (Borough Park, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Kensington, Park Slope, dan Windsor Terrace). Dia adalah calon Partai Demokrat dalam pemilu 2013 menjadi wali kota New York City. Pada tanggal 5 November 2013, de Blasio memenangkan pemilihan wali kota dengan telak atas lawannya, Republik Joe Lhota di menerima lebih dari 73% suara. Dia adalah wali kota Demokrat pertama kota sejak tahun 1993.[1][2]
