Bolu lapis (layer cake (Inggris Amerika), sandwich cake (Inggris Britania),[1] sandwich (Inggris Britania))[2] adalah sebuah bolu yang terdiri dari berbagai lembar bolu yang ditipiskan, dibalut dengan isian seperti selai atau sajian lainnya. Kebanyakan resep bolu dapat dibuat bolu lapis. Bolu mentega dan bolu spons adalah pilihan umum.
