Bowyer Nichols

John Bowyer Buchanan Nichols (13 November 1859 – 2 Juni 1939), yang dikenal sebagai Bowyer Nichols, adalah seprang penyair dan seniman Inggris.

Nichols adalah putra dari Francis Morgan Nichols, seorang penyunting dan penulis, dan dari pihak ayahnya merupakan keturunan dari pencetak dan penulis John Bowyer Nichols, pengarang Literary Anecdotes of the Eighteenth Century. Ia menuntut ilmu di Winchester dan Balliol[1] dan menjadi anggota kepercayaan Wallace Collection. Ia memiliki dua putra, Robert Nichols, penyair dan pengarang drama, dan Philip Nichols, seorang pegawia negeri, dan dua putri Irene, yang menikahi Sir George Gater, dan Anne, yang menikahi Henry Strauss, 1st Baron Conesford.[1]

Nichols meninggal di Lawford Hall, Manningtree, Essex, dalam usia 79 tahun, dan dikebumikan di halaman Gereja Santa Maria, Lawford.[1]
