"Break a leg" (secara harfiah artinya "patah kaki") adalah sebuah idiom dalam teater yang dipakai seorang pementas untuk menyatakan "semoga beruntung" dalam cara ironis. Orang-orang biasanya mengucapkan "Break a leg" kepada aktor dan musisi sebelum mereka pentas di atas panggung. Cikal bakal frasa tersebut masih tidak jelas.[1]
