Buchonia adalah sebuah wilayah di Hesse, negara bagian Jerman, di mana salah satu sistem perencanaan kehutanan pertama kali dikembangkan oleh Georg Ludwig Hartig (1764-1837). Sistem ini disebut "Flächenfachwerk". Dia juga menulis buku berjudul "Anweisung zur Holzzucht für Förster" pada tahun 1791.[1] Diarsipkan 2015-09-30 di Wayback Machine.
