Burien (/ˈbjʊəriən/ )[7] adalah kota pinggiran kota di County King, Washington, Amerika Serikat, terletak di selatan Seattle di Puget Sound. Berdasarkan sensus tahun 2020,[5] populasi Burien berjumlah 52.066 jiwa, meningkat sebesar 56,3% sejak didirikan pada tahun 1993, menjadikannya kota terpadat ke-25 di Washington. Aneksasi pada tahun 2010 meningkatkan populasi kota secara signifikan.
Permukiman Eropa di wilayah Burien dimulai pada tahun 1864, ketika George Ouellet (1831–1899), seorang Prancis-Kanada yang lahir di Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce, Quebec, membeli paten tanah pertamanya dari beberapa paten tanah untuk lokasi wisma, langsung dari kantor pertanahan federal.[8]
