Cataclysme riguata adalah ngengat dari famili Geometridae. Ngengat ini ditemukan dari Semenanjung Iberia melalui Eropa barat dan tengah hingga pegunungan Asia Tengah.
Rentang sayapnya sekitar 20 hingga 23 mm. Dewasanya terbang untuk kawin pada akhir April hingga awal Juni, dan sekali lagi dari Juli hingga Agustus, menghasilkan dua generasi per tahun.
Larvanya memakan Asperula cynanchica, Bellis perennis and Galium. Spesies ini menghabiskan musim dingin sebagai sebuah pupa.
