Catherine Bertini adalah profesor administrasi publik dan hubungan internasional pada Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs di Syracuse University. Ia juga mantan Direktur Eksekutif WFP pada tahun 1992 sampai 2002.[1] Selain itu, ia juga memiliki jabatan di Chicago Council on Global Affairs’ Global Agricultural Development Initiative and Chair of the Council’s Girls in Rural Economies Initiative.[2] Pada tahun 2003 ia merupakan penerima Penghargaan Pangan Dunia.
