Deskripsi

Cereus gerardi memiliki batang tegak dengan tinggi mencapai 3 meter; Batangnya berwarna biru kehijauan dan memiliki banyak rusuk. Terlihat 2-3 duri tengah dan 5-9 duri radial. Duri tengahnya berwarna kuning. Kaktus ini mengelompok di bagian dasar, membentuk massa semak dari batang-batang yang panjang. Bunganya yang berbentuk tabung berwarna krem. Buahnya berbentuk bulat hingga lonjong, terbelah saat matang. [3]

Persebaran

Cereus gerardi ditemukan di dekat kota Pugmil di negara bagian Brasil, Tocantins.
