Cerro Bonete adalah sebuah gunung di sebelah utara provinsi Argentina di Provinsi La Rioja (Argentina), Argentina, Argentina, dekat perbatasan provinsi dengan Provinsi Catamarca.
Puncaknya adalah 6.759 m di atas permukaan laut rata-rata, menjadikannya gunung terpisah tertinggi kelima di Benua Amerika (setelah Aconcagua, Ojos del Salado, Monte Pissis, dan Huascaran). Data SRTM membantah klaim yang sering dibuat bahwa puncaknya adalah 6.872 m di atas permukaan laut.
Dalam 3,5 juta tahun terakhir, aktivitas vulkanik di Cerro Bonete telah membentuk kubah lava dari dasit dan riodasit.[1]
