Chalcophaps atau teparuru adalah genus merpati kecil yang biasa disebut delimukan zamrud, yang ditemukan di Indomalaya dan Australasia.
Taksonomi
Genus Chalcophaps diperkenalkan oleh ahli burung Inggris John Gould pada tahun 1843. [1] Nama genusnya menggabungkan bahasa Yunani Kuno khalkos yang berarti "perunggu" dan phaps yang berarti "merpati". [2] Jenis spesiesnya adalah delimukan zamrud biasa ( Chalcophaps indica ). [3]
