Charles Bally (bahasa Prancis: [bɑji]; 4 Februari 1865 – 10 April 1947) adalah seorang linguis Swiss dari Mazhab Jenewa. Ia hidup dari 1865 sampai 1947. Seperti Ferdinand de Saussure, ia berasal dari Swiss. Orangtuanya adalah Jean Gabriel, seorang guru, dan Henriette, pemilik toko baju. Bally menikah sebanyak tiga kali: pertama dengan Valentine Leirens, disusul oleh Irma Baptistine Doutre, yang dikirim ke lembaga mental pada 1915, dan terakhir dengan Alice Bellicot.
