Charles Belgrave
Sir Charles Dalrymple Belgrave KBE (9 Desember 1894 – 28 Februari 1969) adalah seorang warga negara Inggris dan penasihat penguasa [// Bahrain dari tahun 1926 sampai tahun 1957, sebagai "Kepala Administrator" atau "adviserate". Ia pertama kali bertugas di bawah Syaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (1872-1942), dan kemudian di bawah Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa
Kehidupan awal
Belgrave dididik di Sekolah Bedford dan Lincoln College, Universitas Oxford. Selama Perang Dunia I ia bertugas di Imperial Camel Corps, di Sudan, Mesir dan Palestina. Pada tahun 1915 ia adalah anggota dari Darfur Ekspedisi, di mana dia dianugerahi Sudan Medali dan Gesper. Setelah perang ia diperbantukan kepada Pemerintah Mesir untuk membantu perbatasan kabupaten administrasi di Siwa Oasis. Dia adalah seorang Petugas Administrasi di Tanganyika di 1924-25.
