Charles Edward Sayle (6 Desember 1864 – 4 Juli 1924) adalah seorang penyair Uranian, cendekiawan sastra dan pustakawan Inggris. Ia lahir sebagai putra dari pasangan Robert dan Priscilla Caroline Sayle. Ia kemudian menjabat sebagai pustakawan di Perpustakaan Universitas Cambridge.[1] Karya-karyanya meliputi Bertha: a story of love (1885), Wicliff: an historical drama (1887), Erotidia (1889), Musa Consolatrix (1893), Private Music (1911) dan Cambridge Fragments (1913).[2]
Salon Charles Sayle, kumpulan pria muda yang dominan cerdas, tampan, dan homoseksual, yang berkumpul di rumahnya di Cambridge, termasuk Rupert Brooke,[3] George Mallory,[4] Augustus Bartholomew, dan Geoffrey Keynes.
