Christian Braun

Christian Nicholas Braun (/braʊn/ [1] lahir 17 April 2001) adalah pemain bola basket profesional Amerika untuk Denver Nuggets dari National Basketball Association (NBA). Dia bermain bola basket perguruan tinggi di Universitas Kansas dan menjadi starter di tim yang memenangkan kejuaraan NCAA 2022. Pada tahun 2023, ia berkontribusi pada Nuggets memenangkan gelar NBA pertama mereka, menjadi pemain kelima dalam sejarah bola basket yang memenangkan gelar NCAA dan NBA dalam dua musim berturut-turut.[2]

Braun bermain bola basket untuk Blue Valley Northwest High School di Overland Park, Kansas. Sebagai seorang senior, ia mencetak rata-rata 27,8 poin, 9,3 rebound, dan 3,8 assist per game, memimpin timnya meraih gelar negara bagian Kelas 6A ketiga berturut-turut.[3][4] Dia dinobatkan sebagai Pemain Terbaik Mr. Kansas Basketball dan Kansas Gatorade.[5] Dia berkomitmen untuk bermain bola basket perguruan tinggi untuk Kansas antara lain atas tawaran dari Kansas State, Illinois dan Missouri.[6]
