Cium jauh

Cium jauh adalah sebuah kebiasaan atau isyarat sosial yang pada dasarnya menandakan hal yang sama dengan banyak bentuk ciuman. Cium jauh biasanya dipakai untuk menyapa atau mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada teman atau kerabat.[1]

Cium jauh adalah salah satu jenis ciuman: bibir dibulatkan seperti saat ciuman, tetapi sebenarnya tanpa menyentuh raga orang lain. Terkadang, ciuman jauh melibatkan penyentuhan pipi ke pipi. Selain itu, isyarat tersebut juga disertai oleh suara mwah.[2] Kata onomatopoeik mwah ("perwakilan suara ciuman") telah masuk kamus Webster.[3]
